Participation is open to all persons interested in the theory, design and implementation of circuits and systems.

ISCAS 2014 will have a special focus on the application of circuits and systems for enhancing living and lifestyles, and seeks to address multidisciplinary grand challenges in healthcare and wellbeing, environment and climate change.

Those who wish to attend the Symposium are encouraged to complete the online Registration Form.

Please note that all persons intending to attend the Symposium must register, including invited speakers, paper and tutorial presenters and Chairpersons. Please read the registration information before you complete the online form.

Online registration is the preferred method however if you experience difficulties please contact the Symposium Managers at iscas2014@arinex.com.au.

Author Registration Policy

At least one author of each paper must register at the appropriate non-student Full Registration rate by the author registration deadline, 14 February 2014. One non-student rate author registration can cover up to four papers.

Note: IEEE and CASS membership provides discounted ISCAS registration fees to members. Fees and additional information can be found on the IEEE and CASS websites.

Continuing Professional Development

Conference attendance may be counted as a continuing professional develop activity. Please contact the professional institution in your home country for specific activities and attendance duration requirements.

Registration Entitlements

Delegates

The registration fee entitles all delegates to the following:

  • All symposium sessions (Monday 2 – Wednesday 4 June 2014)
  • Tutorial sessions (Sunday 1 June 2014)
  • CAS-FEST (Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 June 2014)
  • All official documentation including program book, CD of proceedings and list of participants
  • Welcome Reception
  • Symposium Dinner
  • Closing Reception
  • Morning and afternoon teas
  • Satchel

Please note lunch is not included. Delegates will be provided an extended lunch break to dine with colleagues and friends in one of the excellent eateries in the Melbourne Convention Centre/South Wharf area. South Wharf restaurants have special discounted lunch and dinner menus exclusively for ISCAS delegates. Click here to view more information.

Student Registration

A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or international student card.  Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate. Student registrants are entitled to the following:

  • All sessions and tutorials
  • CAS-FEST (Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 June 2014)
  • All official documentation including program book, CD of proceedings and list of participants
  • Welcome Reception
  • Closing Reception
  • Morning and afternoon teas
  • Satchel

The Symposium Dinner is not included in the student registration fee. Students and accompanying persons can purchase tickets to the dinner at a fee of $AUD153 via the online registration form. For more information visit the Social Program page.

Please note:  A copy of your student identification card must be sent to the Symposium Managers via fax to
+ 61 2 9267 5443.  Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

Tutorial Only Registration

Registration for a tutorial only with no symposium registration entitles delegates to attend the tutorial specified at the time of registration. Social program tickets or attendance in any other part of the program is not included in the registration fee. Visit the tutorial page for information on tutorials available and how to register.

CAS-FEST Only Registration

Registration for CAS-FEST only with no symposium registration entitles delegates to attend the CAS-FEST program on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 June 2014. The ISCAS 2014 Closing Reception on Wednesday 5 June 2014 is included in the registration fee however attendance in any other part of the program is not included. Registration Information

Credit Card Payments Online

Online Registration is preferred. Please visit our secure website www.conferencewebsite.com to register and book your accommodation in ‘real time’. Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card.

Accepted credit cards:  MasterCard, Visa and American Express. All transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by arinex’.

Please note that all credit card transactions will incur 2.5% surcharge on the total amount of each transaction.

Cheque

All payments by cheque incur an A$10 processing fee.

Cheque payments will only be accepted up until 22 April 2014. After this date, all registrations and accommodation bookings must be submitted online with credit card details at www.iscas2014.org

Cheques are to be made payable to ‘arinex on behalf of ISCAS 2014′. Your name and full address should be typed or printed clearly on the back of the cheque. Cheque payments from overseas must be a bank cheque in Australian Dollars drawn on an Australian Bank. No other currency will be accepted.

Acknowledgements

Your registration and payment will be acknowledged via email or post with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will not be processed or confirmed if payment does not accompany your form.

You will not receive any further publications before the Symposium. Your letter of acknowledgment will include any further advice necessary prior to your arrival at the Symposium. At the Symposium you will receive the final program, the USB or CD of published papers/Conference documentation and a list of delegates.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Symposium Managers.

Registration Fees:

  • Cancellation before 7 March 2014 will incur an A$100.00 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellation before 26 April 2014 will result in forfeiture of 50% of fees paid.
  • There will be no refund on cancellations on and after 26 April 2014.

Accommodation Fees:

A minimum one night’s deposit must be paid or credit card details given at time of booking to guarantee reservation

  • Deposit is non-refundable at 30 April 2014.

Social Function Fees:

  • Payments are non-refundable at 7 May 2014.

Entrance to the Symposium

Each delegate will receive a name badge on registration. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to all included social functions. The Symposium Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the symposium and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the symposium, or through cancellation of the symposium, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia, failure to utilise tours or pre booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover), loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Symposium Managers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.

Private Touring/ Hospitality Arrangements

Should you have any specialised group requirements for private touring, transportation or hospitality services other than those organised for the official program, please contact the Symposium Manager who would be pleased to assist with arrangements.

Private Functions

It is requested that you advise the Symposium Managers of any private /corporate functions that might be planned outside of the official program. The Symposium Managers would be pleased to assist with arrangements for any of these events.

The program is correct at the time of publishing.  The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Symposium timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice.  Neither the host organisation nor the Symposium organisers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

The meeting organisers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Symposium for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Symposium and/or its content at their sole discretion.
